Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Research and Technology is more than 35 years old. It is matter of pleasure coated with sense of satisfaction that it has lived up to the expectation with which it was started in 1983. It was an attempt on the part of the management to make available a centre, first of its kind, of engineering education at Chandrapur. The engineers passing from the college and proving their technical excellence in India and abroad generate sense of pride in all of us.

Right from the inception the management has maintained the supported an approach conductive to generation of academic environment complemented by best possible infrastructure made available to students and faculty members. The orientation of staff members towards research is an index to successful cultivation of academic environment in the institution. We have always encouraged and appreciated the faculties engaged in research. Along with the time the challenges to improve, innovate and maintain the standards. I am confident that the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Z.J.Khan and his highly qualified team of staff members has the potential to explore ever growing heights of technical skill.
