R.C.E.R.T Organizes Seminar on Guidance on GATE Preparation
Department of Computer Technology & Information Technology of Rajiv Gandhi Collge of Engineering, Research & Technology, Chandrapur organized a Seminar on “Guidance on GATE Preparation” for the aspiring students of the department on 12/08/2016.


Mr.Muktinath Vishwakarma, Alumni of IIT Kanpur was invited as guest speaker for the program.Dr.K.R.Dixit, Principal ,RCERT & Dr.Rahila Sheikh, HOD, Dept of CT & IT were present over the dais. Dr.Rahila Sheikh in her introductory speech discussed about the importance of GATE Exam to the students. She motivated the students to focus on their higher studies after graduation by qualifying for GATE Examination. Dr.K.R.Dixit discussed about the current scenario of engineering industry and shared his valuable thoughts on how an engineer can actually make a bright future by preparing for the GATE examination. He stressed on hard work & moral character be given proper focus during the preparation.



Mr.Muktinath Vishwakarma started the seminar with the problems he has faced during his career. He shared his experiences in IIT, Kanpur pursuing his MTech in Computer Science & Engineering. He is currently the Director of Altius Research Lab & GATE Guidance Centre in Nagpur. In his seminar he stressed on sheer hard work required for qualifying the exams. He shared few tips & tricks with the students regarding the GATE Exam. He advised students on starting the preparation for the exams in early days of their engineering. He motivated the students for pursuing their higher studies & its future perspective in their career.
